Salt is everywhere and in everything. Without Salt, we are nothing.
Bombay salt pans have for long supplied salt across the city and state. This essential ingredient to our daily lives, is mined by unknown faces and unknown names. It is only when I saw salt being made, did I realise how labour intensive the whole process is. So the next time you see some salt, say thank you to the multitudes behind getting it to you table.
